Annual Christmas Walk in Downtown Farmland
Historic Farmland USA and Downtown Farmland will hold Farmland’s 25th Annual Christmas Walk on Tuesday, December 5, from 5 PM to 9 PM. This year the Walk features luminarias along Main Street, the Farmland Fire Department’s Chili Supper (5 – 7 PM), and the town tree lighting and Christmas carols at the Farmland City Building (6 PM). Activities in the Community Center include a visit from Santa Claus (6 – 8 PM), live entertainment and area choirs, children’s activities (ornament making, cookie decorating), free cookies and cider, a 50/50 raffle, and an auction of Christmas wreaths donated by East Central Indiana florists (7 PM).
Historic Farmland USA, located in the Farmland Community Center at 100 N. Main
Street in downtown Farmland, is a non-profit all-volunteer organization dedicated to
improving the Quality of Life for citizens of Farmland and the surrounding East Central Indiana region by offering numerous programs and providing a center for community
enrichment. The SouthWall Gallery is the latest addition to this mission.
