"Old News"-an exhibit of Randolph County and Farmland newspapers from the late 1800's to the 1960"s

 

Historic Farmland USA is pleased to announce our Fall 2017 “Old News” Exhibit in the SouthWall Gallery in the Farmland Community Center, 100 North Main Street, in downtown Farmland. The Opening Reception will be at 7 PM, on Friday, September 8. Old News Is an archival collection of local and national news stories from local newspapers - the Farmland Enterprise, the Randolph County Enterprise and the Winchester Democrat. The stories span the years between the late 1800’s to the early 1960’s. The assassination of President McKinley and the D Day invasion of Normandy are just two of the highlights. The show will run through mid-November
