Randolph County Courthouse

Address:
Historic Square
Winchester, IN 47394

Features: Courthouse

This amazing building built in 1876 was the inspiration for the infamous "Courthouse Girls."  The bricks are believed to have come from the soil of a local Native American mound.  Unfortunately, the builders at the time did not know the importance of their source.  Marble tile floors line the interior.  A mural depicting early Indiana life covers one wall of the first floor.
